Based on the generalization and systematization of approaches to measuring the sustainability and balance of regional development, the article proposes an author’s
approach to assessing the regional effectiveness of eco-balanced development. The developed system of indicators of economic, environmental and social dynamics takes into account the main indicators of sustainable development, «green» growth and corresponds to the priorities of the national and regional economy. The scientific basis of the study is the theory of economic growth and balanced development, taking into account the provisions of the concept of sustainable development. In the process of scientific research, the following research hypothesis was put forward: the regional efficiency of eco-balanced development is ensured on the basis of the coordinated interaction of economic, environmental and social spheres with their positive dynamics, which determines economic growth and maintains the ecological balance of the territory.
