Annotation

The paper is about the prospects of economic and mathematical modelling in the field of intellectual property objects creation. The aim is to optimize the financing of innovation activity and forecast its results. It is shown that there is no linear dependence between the amount of financing and the number of created intellectual property objects. This conclusion is based on the results of economic and mathematical modelling with the help of the knowledge production function. It is shown that the change in the number of intellectual property objects is possible if intangible factors are taken into account, in particular, the motivation of researchers to develop and commercialize intellectual property objects.
