The article is devoted to the analysis of the problem of strategic human capital management in modern Russian realities. The authors focuses on studying the impact of globalization on human capital management in the Russian Federation. In this article, the authors notes the relevance of developing tools and methods for working with human capital. It was also noted that Russia continues to occupy one of the leading positions in the development of human resources through active financing. The authors gives a generalized description of the concept of human capital, presented by various economists, including representatives of classical political economy. The characteristic features of human resource management in the Russian Federation are highlighted and described, considering the specifics of the Russian economy and the current geopolitical situation. Due to the specific and ambiguous economic situation of the Russian Federation and the socio-cultural factors and challenges that it had to face, it is necessary to create a favorable climate for the development of human capital, including creating conditions for continuing education, as well as stimulating professional growth. All this will ensure cultural and economic sovereignty, as well as economic development by achieving high efficiency and technological efficiency. It should be noted that these goals were also specified in the decree of the President of the Russian Federation «On the National Development Goals of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2030 and for the future up to 2036».
