Annotation

The city pays great attention to small and medium-sized businesses. During the difficult times of the pandemic and after its completion, a large number of subsidies, grants and other forms of support were allocated to this sector. Thus, in 2021, the turnover of small and medium-sized businesses in Moscow reached 3.2 trillion rubles, an increase of 41% compared to 2020. At the same time, it is the analysis of the sectoral contribution to the efficiency of the economy in this sector that is interesting. The article examines the economic analysis of the activities of small and medium-sized enterprises in the city of Moscow for 2021–2022. The study revealed that the preferred type of activity of the subjects is wholesale and retail trade, as well as repair of vehicles, which is of great importance for the development of the economy of the city, region and state as a whole.
