Annotation

The article presents the analysis of the main modern trends in the field of integrated transportation in the market of transport services. It studies such parameters as the level of competition in the market, analyzes the peculiarities of containerization in our country, as well as the directions of business development in this area. The object of the study is one of the Russian transport companies. The subject of the research is the study and systematization of practical experience in increasing the competitiveness of a transport company. To increase competitiveness it is proposed to implement a strategy of diversified growth, as well as the implementation of an investment project aimed at developing the company’s business infrastructure. The calculations of the effectiveness of the project for the development of infrastructure confirm its feasibility, especially in an unstable economy, increased competition and globalization processes in the market of transport services.
