Annotation
The article provides an overview of the trends in the process of digital transformation of industry as a trend of global development. The purpose of the study is to identify the problems of digital transformation of the Russian industry and identify possible measures to overcome them. In the course of the research, general scientific methods
of cognition were used, such as a systematic approach, statistical methods of processing arrays of information, methods of analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, as well as methods of comparison and generalization. A comparative analysis of the use of digital technologies by Russian and foreign organizations was carried out, during which a significant lag in Russia was revealed both in terms of coverage of organizations and in the dynamics of digital transformation processes. The low level of internal costs of industrial organizations for the creation, dissemination and use of digital technologies, including in comparison with the leading countries, has been revealed. The reasons hindering digitalization in the Russian industry have been identified. Based on the results obtained, the author’s vision of possible measures to overcome the identified problems is presented.
