Annotation

The article considers approaches to assessing the main indicators in the system of regulation and management of socio-economic processes. The proposed assessment tools are based on methods for constructing correlation and regression models. The author conducted a comparative assessment of the accuracy of the application of correlation and regression analysis methods using the example of calculating the average value and the standard deviation of the unemployment rate in the Russian Federation based on data from the Federal State Statistics Service for the period from 2010 to 2023. The results obtained show that the methods proposed by the author for evaluating indicators of socio-economic processes give adequate results. The choice of assessment tools depends on the level and volume of tasks solved by public administration bodies, as well as the completeness and reliability of statistical data presented in the form of time series.
