The paper draws a number of conclusions about the impact of sanctions on the economy of the regions of the Ural Federal District. The authors have identified regions with the greatest risks from the imposition of sanctions: for example, single-industry manufacturing and extractive regions are subject to a significant negative impact of sanctions on a sectoral basis, on a territorial basis: singleindustry towns (due to the problems of city-forming enterprises). In conclusion, the author’s recommendations are presented.
