Annotation
The article presents an overview of the economic indicators of the agricultural sector of the Russian Federation in the context of the implementation of the import substitution program. The relevance of the topic is due to the ongoing transformations of the Russian economy in the global economic system and their consequences. The aim is to analyze the growth rates of the agricultural sector by a number of key indicators and assess the prospects for development. The scientific significance lies in the methodology for assessing structural changes in relation to environmental factors. The practical significance lies in the formation of practice-oriented proposals for agricultural enterprises. As a result of the study, indicators of the dynamics of the statistical series were obtained, patterns were identified and the correlation of data with the active actions of market participants and regulators was analyzed. The state programs of support for participants of the agricultural market and the regulatory framework used for the development of the industry are considered.
