The article briefly presents the results of the conducted study of the relations of business entities in oil and gas chemical clusters in terms of their technological interdependence and the corresponding threats to economic security. The study used the methods of observation, generalization, analysis, synthesis, hypothetical-deductive reasoning and economic and mathematical modeling. As a result of the study, various aspects of the problem of deepening the technological interdependence of business entities in oil and gas chemical clusters are described. An economic and mathematical model of the formation and development of technological
interdependence of business entities in the petrochemical cluster has been developed, allowing for the economic interests of each cluster participant to be taken into account. The model can be used to forecast the development of technological interdependence of business entities in petrochemical clusters and to identify potential risks and threats to their economic security. The cause-and-effect relationships described in the article should be taken into account when developing and implementing tools to ensure the sustainability of the petrochemical complex.
