Annotation

The growing competition in the Russian food market is a catalyst for corporate activity in the application of various marketing tools in the food production sector. The study focused on meat processing companies (Surgut Poultry Farm, Novosibirsk Poultry Farm, and Damate Group), regional chain of stores “Slata”, as well as A.STUDIO, a company specializing in integrated marketing and branding. The problem field identified by the authors is the choice, content and specifics of marketing tools used by various companies, which depend on the position of the company in the market and on the specifics of the tasks being solved by the company. The authors characterized and evaluated each marketing tool that they used as an illustrative example. In addition, they revealed the motivational basis for their use by companies, assessing the positive effect for each company that acted as an object of research.
