Annotation

Modern megalopolises and large cities are faced with growing transport loads, which requires effective management of transport processes. The article examines the need for an integrated approach to the organization of transport systems in conditions of accelerated growth of urban infrastructure and an increase in population. The relevance of the study is due to the need to optimize transport processes taking into account environmental requirements and limited space. The work analyzes existing management tools, their classification and structuring, which allows us to identify effective practices and suggest ways to improve transport policy in the context of urbanization. Particular attention is paid to problems associated with chronic overloading of the road network and uneven distribution of traffic flows, which leads to congestion and reduced mobility of the population.
