Annotation
The authors analyzed and systematized the market strategies used by metallurgical companies from different industry segments as their response to the ongoing changes
and transformation of the market of metal products and metal services. The companies chosen for the analysis represent such industry segments as metal products manufacturing, metal trading, and metal services. The research question for the authors was the problem of choice, content and peculiarities of the market strategies used by the analyzed companies depending on their industry segment, conditions of severe restrictions and ongoing transformations of the metal products market. Each market strategy is characterized in detail, the motives for its use and the positive effect of its application in a particular segment of the metallurgical market are disclosed, and the conclusion summarizes the results of the study.
