Annotation

This study examines some aspects of the concept of a value-based approach to company value management. The article analyzes and compares two approaches to managing the company’s value: traditional (cost) and strategic (value). The stages of managing the company’s value are characterized, and the system of methods for managing the company’s value is considered. The values of each stage of the company’s value management are highlighted. The author shows the strategic map «Profitability of sales». The criteria that need to be formed in determining the business value are outlined and the methods of managing the company’s value are presented. The general results are summarized, which make it possible to highlight the possibilities of applying value-oriented management of the company. Purposeful value-oriented management of the company’s value allows you to obtain diverse cost results that contribute to the further progressive development of the company, which is investigated by the author by considering various components of a value-oriented approach.
