Annotation

The article examined concepts that influence the understanding of careers. Factors that influence career development were also highlighted. For a company, each employee must have a set of characteristics that depend on trends. In this regard, the issue of studying the role of corporate universities in career building becomes relevant. The research method was an analysis of domestic and foreign literature on the issue under study. The author examined the history of the formation of the first corporate universities abroad, as well as the current situation with the development of corporate universities in Russia. The difference between corporate universities and other educational entities, which are often mistakenly considered one and the same, is examined in detail. Particular emphasis was placed on considering the strategic sections of the foundation of a successful corporate university. The result of this study is that a corporate university has a great advantage for building a person’s career in a particular company, because allow you to gain specific knowledge necessary for career advancement.
