Annotation

The article is devoted to the analysis of mechanisms of state support as a tool for financing innovative projects by companies in the Russian oil and gas industry. The relevance of the research is due to significant changes in their activities caused by external sanctions restrictions, which have intensified the insufficient funding of innovative areas of activity, as well as the strategic importance of the energy complex for the economy of the Russian Federation. Approaches to solving this problem are explored, including through mechanisms of public-private partnership, preferential regimes, subsidies and grant support. The effectiveness of these approaches is analyzed and an algorithm for choosing financing mechanisms for certain types of projects is proposed.
