Annotation

The article analyzes the concepts of “information service” and “information product” — their essence and specific features are revealed. It is justified that the development and implementation of information services in the activities of companies will increase their efficiency, and, therefore, will have a positive effect on the activity of economic entities in various sectors of the economy. The introduction of information services into products or services provided by modern companies leads to an increase in sales, revenue, profit and, as a result, to an increase in business efficiency. Ensuring the development of information technologies, services and products, and, accordingly, technological entrepreneurship, subject to a balance between the spheres of the economy, will ensure the competitiveness of the country’s economy and high indicators in achieving the criterion for classifying the innovative and digital economies.
