Annotation

With the transition to market economic conditions, issues related to the implementation of mutually beneficial cooperation between the state and business, mainly in the infrastructure direction, have become more relevant. One of the main results of solving these issues was the emergence and development of public-private partnership (hereinafter — PPP), which allows, in conditions of limited funds of the state (municipal) budget, to attract resources, experience and competencies of business to achieve the set development goals of municipalities, subjects of the Russian Federation and the country as a whole. The purpose of the article is to identify and disclose Russian trends in the development of PPP. The methodological basis of the study was the basic provisions of the dialectical method of cognition, within which a system of general scientific and private scientific methods was used. The author presents the stages of the PPP life cycle. A comprehensive analysis of the current stage of PPP development with the identification and characterization of its key trends is carried out. Within the framework of each trend, emphasis is placed on problematic and promising aspects of interaction between the state and business. The materials of the conducted research can be used in the development and decision-making to ensure the effective development of PPP, taking into account modern challenges and threats.
