Annotation

The serious changes that have taken place in the banking sector and the entire financial system of the Russian Federation, in connection with large-scale Western sanctions, require a comprehensive analysis, generalization of best practices, identification of the results achieved and the most acute problems. This study contributes to the systematization of the changes that have occurred in the banking sector and provides an opportunity for further study of the banking community from the standpoint of the already identified problematic aspects and advantages of the development of the banking system of the Russian Federation according to a new scenario dictated by time and the changes that have occurred. The article analyzes the actions of the regulator, studies changes in the index of changes in bank lending conditions and demand for bank loans in the segments of large business, small and medium-sized businesses, as well as the population, identifies the most problematic aspects of banking informatization and import substitution.
