Annotation
The process of communication between urban transport management bodies and the population today is one of the key priorities for the development of management
models in the transport service system. The purpose of the study is to analyze the foreign experience of communication between authorities and the population in the field of urban transport development and identify key factors for the success of this process. The article defines the concept, structure and key functions of communication between authorities and the population in the field of urban transport development and defines criteria for the effectiveness of communication systems between authorities and the population in the field of urban transport development. The results of the analysis of the experience of communication between the authorities of Singapore, Beijing, London, Paris, New York and Tokyo with the population are presented. Based on the data obtained, the key factors of the success of the communication systems of the authorities and the population in the field of urban transport development are determined.
