Annotation

The article is devoted to the possibility of increasing tax literacy and forming a tax culture through the introduction of a special course “Tax Literacy” in schools in Russia. The program of the course was considered, practical recommendations for teachers on the effective conduct of these classes were given. As a result of the introduction of additional hours on these issues, it is planned to increase the level of tax literacy of the population and form the personality of students as bona fide taxpayers. All these measures will help to increase the level of tax literacy of young people, as a result of which the percentage of citizens who consider it permissible to evade their direct duties to the state may decrease.
