Annotation

This article provides a comparative analysis of the distribution of investments in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation by type of activity in the field of informatization and communications in 2017 and 2020, confirming the growing regional differentiation. A set of key indicators for the study is defined. Regions with distinctive features in the state and development of the information and communication infrastructure of the population of the Russian Federation are identified. Correlation analysis and analysis of descriptive statistics were carried out. Using the non-hierarchical k-means method, a cluster model of subjects of the Russian Federation is obtained, which characterizes the level of development of informatization and communications of the population of the Russian Federation.
