Annotation
In the article, within the framework of the study, the subject of the Russian Federation, Moscow, is considered as a city focused on intensive ground transport and pedestrian traffic, which suffers from traffic accidents, traffic jams, inaccessibility of public places, environmental degradation, etc. These circumstances, which cannot support an acceptable level of mobility and an adequate quality of life for the population, require sustainable planning and development perspectives. Priority directions for the design
and comprehensive improvement of the street and road network are considered, a structured and agreed method is proposed that can serve as a decision support tool for developers of urban policy and transport planning in the formation and development of urban space.
